Maryland Youth Pandemic Behavior Survey (YPBS-23)

September 2023-Under subcontract to Innovation Horizons, Trebuchet Research led the questionnaire development and executed the web survey fielding activities for the Maryland Youth Pandemic Behavior Survey (YPBS-23). The study was sponsored by the Maryland Department of Health. YPBS-23 was an online survey that built on the Maryland Youth Risk Behavior Survey and the Youth Tobacco Survey (YRBS/YTS) to learn about high schoolers and their experiences with tobacco, substance use, mental health, and other topics. 

The team worked closely throughout the field period to ensure data quality and implemented innovative protocols to ward off fraudulent/bot responses. In total, 915 web surveys passed all quality checks and were analyzed for this study.
